We had a wonderful Stake Conference at Church this afternoon. We attended the one in Christiana (where we used to go before we moved down to Smyrna). It may be farther than Dover but it was nice to see old friends.

A little after we got home, Edric went to the corner of the living room where we have a small glass cabinet for Pam's little ornament decorations. Among all the figurines there, he distincly picked up the small 'jeepney' souvenir we included as decoration. He was not playing that before because it wasn't numbered among his toys but I guess his 'barong tagalog' unveiled the Filipiniana spirit in him. As of this time that's as close as he can get to a jeepney but we'll make sure he'll have his chance to be in one sooner or later. Bisdak gyud ning bataa!

Thanksgiving Day '07

I give thanks to my Heavenly Father everyday for my wife Pam & our son. As it is Thanksgiving Day today, I'd like to express again my gratitude by counting my blessings and mention one here... a very precious blessing that became the highlight this year... that is the coming of Edric into our lives - a bundle of joy long awaited.

Oct. 27 - Trunk or Treat at Church
He hasn't seen Star Wars yet but we thought he'd be cute to be Yoda for his first Halloween costume.

Oct 31 - We were out Trick or Treating at the McVickers where Yoda met Darth Vader. No worries though for it was a friendly encounter. No lightsabers were used.

10 Oct 07 - Beep beep, here I come!

Seems like it was just yesterday when we brought him home from the hospital. Now he's starting to walk and we're getting set to chase him around. Funny how we say time flies... and yet 1 minute is still 60 seconds.
